Flowers and Memorial Hall

After taking a short walk to Taipei Main Station (to get me a new iPhone!) we found a nice dumpling restaurant. The service wasn't so great, the staff ignored us for awhile, then served a couple Taiwanese people who came in after us first.

But... the food was good! We got Wonton noodle soup,

Curry potstickers

And shrimp dumplings. Way too much food!

Then, we headed to the Zhongxiao Fuxing station to explore a bit.

We came across the Holiday Flower Market.

Today is Chinese New Year's Eve, so we decided to scratch our original plans to head to a night market since they were all closed. Instead, we decided to head to the Memorial Hall. Turns out that was a great idea because we pretty much had the place to ourselves!

Then we wandered around again looking for somewhere to grab dinner. Everything was closed for Chinese New Years... well everything except Burger King.
