When we first got to the memorial hall we spent some time people watching and taking pictures.
Once inside the Memorial Hall, we were greeted by the Honor Guards.
We read in our handy Discover Taipei travel magazine that there was a special Calligraphy Exhibition with on site demonstrations from well-known experts. It turned out to be just an old man with a scroll having people sign it. He insisted we sign even though we didn't want to ruin the beautiful calligraphy with our dumb signatures.
After spending the day at the memorial hall we went to Gordon Biersch for dinner because, ya'know, sometimes you need some western food.
